As most of you who are concerned about it know, Runne has not updated in a while.
The reason for this? I have plenty of writing that I’ve been sitting on since last November. I simply haven’t had time to draw the full-color art for the chapters.
I knew when I first started that setup for Runne that it would be an ambitious thing to upkeep. What I didn’t know was that I’d be going back to work again full time. Back then, I was freelancing at home and had a lot more time on my hands for artwork outside of Wayrift pages. Lately, I haven’t. And thinking back on it, I’m sad that content isn’t getting out there just because of that.
So I want your feedback. Should I go ahead and post the writing without the art so that I can start getting more regular updates posted? It won’t be as pretty, but at least it’ll be moving forward.
Up to you, but I wouldn’t mind it without the art, even though I love the art.

It doesn’t matter to me. The art is good and helps to envision some of the story, but reading the story without the art is alright as well. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable and happy.
If you’re happy with what you are doing, then we’re happy as well.

I like the art with each chapter, but I wouldn’t mind the writing without the art either. Or you could do little sketches, like with Dregiau, and then replace them with the full-color art whenever you actually get time to work on them. Whatever works best for you.

That’s actually a good happy medium. If I did that, then I’d have the sketches for the full color pieces done and I could pick them up whenever I needed. I should have thought of that. :p
