It's not complete yet, however, but many of the characters that appear in Wayrift also appear in "Shimmer" (though much younger). You'll often see readers suggest the other stories in the network to supplement Wayrift for this reason. Wayrift can stand on its own, but the other stories all help flesh out the world a lot more.
