**Spoiler Warning!**
I realize in Dreigiau that there were a lot of characters who sacrificed their lives to protect the ones that they loved, especially the future generations. When I first heard this song, I thought immediately of Sara in particular. Once I had completed writing the story, I discovered there were a number of figments that I’d like to pay tribute to… While the ending may seem grim, the story doesn’t stop there.  Just like in real life, the sacrifices of those who came before help to pave the way for a brighter time for their children.

Back in January of 2009, I began working on art for a Dreigiau “secret project.” That secret project was, in fact, this tribute video! The art used in this video varies a bit in style because some of it was drawn across the span of the last two and a half years. Yes… I… am ashamed it took me this long to complete. But I’m happy that it is done!

With the exception of one or two pieces, all artwork was drawn specifically for the making of this video. I know other folks have used them in some of their Wayrift tribute vidoes, which is fine, though ironic, as they were created and sized to be video footage to begin with. smile
