After a month and a half of heavy leveling in Istaria, my level 50 hatchling Dragon, Kudako, earned his Simulated Scale and completed the last epic steps of the Right of Passage (RoP) quest. Finishing this very challenging quest line transformed him from a bouncing little hatchling to a powerful adult dragon with the ability to freely fly all over the lands of Istaria.

I waited a little longer than most hatchlings do (you can start the quest at level 30 adventure, level 30 crafter) in order to earn the Simulated Scale, which you can only get at level 50 if you are still a hatchling. It has some exceptional stats, and overall, I’m happy I waited.

The RoP for the Lunus line was satisfyingly difficult. I have to give a huge thanks and dragonhugs to my wonderful guild Eyes of Istaria who spent time, effort and death points getting me through. Flying takes some getting used to, but is an amazing experience that was well worth the struggle.
