I’m in the process of updating the site to ComicPress 2.8. So you may see some changes happening here and there. At this point, the most drastic thing is that I’m going to have to figure out how to get comments to post on the front page again — as I had to tweak the coding in the past to get that to function properly… and that coding does not seem to work completely with this new template. I’ll keep working at it because I liking having comments there and ready right up under the comic, without having to click a link to see them (I guess some folks think that gets a little cluttered).
One GOOD thing that has been activated is the ability to post nested comments — meaning, hopefully, we can no reply to each other (by clicking the little “reply” link) and see an indented comment, such as you may have seen at other sites. So test it out!
Oh, and I decided to let the Waynews “blog” be on the front of the site again, just for updating and news purposes.
Edit: I figured out how to get the comments working! Woot! I am now absolutely pleased.

Glad to hear it! If you need any help at all you know where you can find me =) Happy to lend assistance how I can.

Thanks, Frumph! I saw that you were on the dev team there now, and I think that’s fantastic! 2.8 has so many amazing features, I’m really excited to be able to implement them into my site.
Thank you for all the hard work that you and the ComicPress team do! You give so much to the webcomic community.
