KY: *to Zemi* ~Dragons don’t talk on this world, and if they do, it is generally thought of as a bad thing. The only talking dragons are evil dragons in legends.~
Zemi: ~Then how am I supposed to ever speak with people and help them understand dragons?~
KY: ~You’re going to have to work in personform with these Baronians. They only understand small words and simple concepts.~
Zemi: *sighs* ~They train close-minded dragons, too.~
KY: ~No, dragons don’t like me for a reason…~

I rather like how Zemi, though as ancient and wise as he is, is portrayed as someone with so many holes when it comes to knowledge. That is such a breath of fresh air when he is compared to other fictional deity-like beings (Q, for example). He’s vastly intelligent but out of touch, and his humility to admit it (asking advice in this case) is something that really makes him stand out and be rather believable.
…plus he’s Zemi!! Other than Queen Fleabag, who couldn’t like him? I bet even Tai, deep down, has a soft spot for Zemi!

Oh, no. Queen Fleabag likes him. She likes her brother so much that she wants him to leave the humans alone and pay attention to her.

Well, after all that Zemi’s been through, I think he’s come to realize his shortcomings in understanding Earthians. He may have a better grip on it than Zazo does, but he still has a lot to learn.
That was part of the reason he had someone like Zento take over the immediate leadership positions in Dreigiau. Even then, Zemi knew he needed someone who was more in touch with Earthians to lead the people directly.

KY: Dragons don’t like me for a reason… there is a legend about evil white dragon, and you know…. it’s not as much a legend as a history… and… I… I admit it wasn’t one of my best moments… but I didn’t mean it, it was an accident… er, I mean I was so hungry…
And they brought new supply of a dragon chow soon enough!

Ah, but he might get poisoning from the metallic compounds. Also, Kip is old enough to probably not taste good and you don’t know where he has been. Maybe you can instead use him as the bonfire to cook the meat over? Use one of the metallic plates like a pan?

Maybe, but I don’t want to see a dragon with a sick stomach (flames everywhere), so it is preventative measures for the rest of us.
So we shall say that Kip has preservatives? Maybe that is how he lived so long. It does make me wonder about Kip spit though. Full of preservatives and Omega-3s?

You know the old maxim: “You are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup”…
…although Aiden, perhaps instead of kipburgers, how about a kipmeatloaf? Add some breadcrumbs, parsley, onions, garlic, salt and pepper, mix in lots of ketchup…and teach him to sing!

I like the way your art is looking, Wren. I’m digging this style in particular. I think it really fits the comic, just like color.
