Chapters 8 and 9.
It did distort reality, space and time as we and the characters knew it. You almost pulled a “but it was just a dream” except you didn’t. In fact, the events in chapter 8 and near to 9 were almost entirely plausible. Then you spun us around and whacked us about the head. “Did you really think that? Even for a moment?” It was a twist ending, and well done.
Was it epic? In its own fashion. A major turning point for Leona, anyway. Reality was more returned to normal than distorted, but that in itself is a kind of distortion. Time was also effected, it had been some two weeks longer than normal. Space was, of course, the main change, as things moved location (kinda? Definitely from the cabin).
I’ll argue the case for weeks if I have to. I had exactly that particular incident in mind when I replied, though I had forgotten the exact chapters.

I guess that sort of stuff happens so often in our Wayrift RP sessions — we try to keep it toned down in the actual comic because tripping out between dimensions and possible dimensions could get confusing.
But Syn is very, very good at turning me on my head with her plots. So many times. For some reason, I never see it coming and she thinks that I should or do. *laughs* I guess I take her storylines way too literally and never think to look beyond the borders. Even after she’s pulled stuff on me so many times.

Ha! XD We all want the scythe…but I think he’s attached to that one. Isn’t it the same one his father used to wield? If so…I really don’t foresee him willingly parting with it anytime soon.
