AsaHi: Even consumed by darkness. TsuYa tried to protect the people he cared about. And from what the Elder said, so did you.
Zeb: *gives the Elder a grouchy look*
Miran: *slides down and sits by him on one side*
Max: *sits by him on the other side*
Zeb: oO Look… a lot of things have changed. I’m hardly that kid anymore. And whatever is left of that kid, should be, by the justice of this world, dead. I’m not a good person. Tai doesn’t think he’s a great person either.
Tai: Don’t bring me into this.
Max: If that’s true, why did you come here? No one made you cross the Serpent Road.
Tai: Yeah, seriously. That is the biggest load of choco-crud I’ve heard. You were practically frantic to find her when you thought you saw her.
Miran: *sighs* He’s still my silly boy.
Zeb: No I’m not.
Miran: I think that’s a bigger load of choco-crud.
Zeb: Go home and remember your son like he should be remembered. *shoves her at the Elder, and melts into the shadows* As a stupid kid. Not as the murderous demon Tyrant who nearly destroyed this world!
Miran: Wait! Don’t!
Tai: *huffs* What a coward.
Miran: I can stay here all day. *quietly, and gently* You can’t keep an ice dome up forever, even if you’re that good with water magic.
Max: I’d think we’d all prefer that not be the case. *reaches out his hand and half the globe melts away*
Zeb: *doesn’t turn around, just stands and turns away*
Miran: Zeb… is… that really you? *looks up*
Zeb: No. Your son died long ago in a floating tower. *stern but quiet talk – doesn’t turn around* You should leave.
-Golbez getting his senses knocked back into him on the Giant-
Max: *points towards the door, indicating to Miran that Zeb is outside*
Zeb: *eyes hard as he looks up the stairs, then his eyes soften and he looks down at his feet*
*the light shines as a dim silhoutte of AsaHi, Miran and Max appear from the light*
-A Short Time Ago..-
*A flashback to Max, sitting with her, trying to tell the story of what he knows of Zeb and Cecil*
