Zeb, I thought you would clever enough to remember that touching the sword is bad for your health. It’s still sweet of you to try and clean it.

Ahhh… but you have to remember… Zeb has probably has hardly touched a “sword of light” in his time (Other than Cecil cutting into him). I don’t think he’s used to the idea that he isn’t exactly neutrally magically aligned anymore. In some ways, I still think he sees himself for the most part as human and normal, even though he isn’t really either of those things.

I suppose that’s me being genre savvy. It’s a “sword of light”, don’t touch it unless you’re the main character of the story. Since I’ve always seen myself as a secondary or even extra character, I wouldn’t touch it just to be on the safe side XD I’d probably end up with a cursed item XD

Of course not! Having a self-cleaning sword would encourage idleness, leading paladins slowly down the road to slovenly apostasy! Paladin swords SEEK OUT dirt so as to keep their wielders working hard and thereby keep them from straying from the path.
