As suggested, I’m going to try to remember to put a location tag in the comic script from now on, just to help keep things clarified. I know it can sometimes get a little confusing with all the dimension-hopping, so here’s to hoping this will help!

At least they were nice enough to stitch him back together. And I agree he looks different without his headband. I wonder what whoever was trying to patch him up thought about his hardware. Metalwork isn’t exactly the average thing to find under someone’s shirt.
And when Kip come to he isn’t going to have much trouble getting out of that chair unless he’s magelocked.

Very doubtful the folks at the tavern would have access to something like Mageloks. Though you’ve seen a lot of them in the story, they are actually reserved more for castle prisoners and guard usage.

Nope, if they had called Kain, Kip would have been in chains in the Baron dungeon. Cecil KNOWS who OMEGA is… he’s been in battles against him, after all.

Well I wish the staff of Sam’s luck in trying to deal with an injured, mentally unstable mind-mage then. Although Kip’s main goal upon regaining consciousness is probably going to be getting away to somewhere safe where he can recover, so maybe if they don’t get in the way they’ll be okay.

Well, Mind Magery does not exist at all among the humans of my Blue Planet (Syn’s world does have human mind mages, though). So, they don’t quite comprehend what Kip is and what he can do… even after experiencing it for themselves. I’m sure they’re still fuzzy on the details.

I’m sure he does… though I think he’s going to have to find a replacement for his jacket. I don’t believe the old one is going to get patched up with the damage it took.

So they heal him but still they take safety measures… Clever, very clever (*nods*) Not enough to stop him, I suppose, but I give them kudos for being somewhat prepared. But, as I said before, since Kip is not THAT evil, we can expect him to be civil.

I can confirm that Kudako eventually appears in Wayrift. I’m not sure how he’ll be introduced, but he will come.
