Yeah, but Tai could really use some attention from a normal woman instead of a crazy wolf from outer space. Well… maybe not normal, but more normal then Zazo. Actual normality seems to be about the most rare thing in this entire universe…
Besides, if she starts flirting with Tai, it will make Zazo jealous and angry, at which point Kip is the only one who can save her (he’s Zazo’s main advisor in love-related matters, after all). So flirting with Tai simply speeds up the process of bringing the two of them together.

oooh the implicated love triangles! I mean here is a perfect example of Zang (Zeb/Fang), and there’s always my fav, the original King (Kip/Fang), and the one that we all know is going to happen (eventually) Leonjamin (Ben/Leona), and off of Wren’s last comment, a Beng (Ben/Fang) ship would be interesting. and of course the mentioned Tsung (Tsu/Fang) (unless of course my suspiciouns are correct in which case that would just be insest), and the ever popular Tsuzo (Tsu/Zazo) and i think that’ll cover all the ships currently sailing in this story line…very interesting…
and as a fellow short person (though i’m proud to say i am taller than Tsu!): We are not short, we’re fun sized…or you’re all just freakishly tall (especially ben and zeb)

I’d also take a guess and say that Zeb’s not a huge fan of mindmages using and dumping people like that… considering his history. Which might be part of the reason for his reaction on the next page.
I know Ben is extremely anti-mindmage for these reasons. We’ll have to ask Syn if Zeb feels the same… though Zeb tends to use his mind magic a lot more than Ben does.
