Ben still can’t use his magic I think. Ben might try to talk to it though? In a way this is good. Tai is someone who can fight quite effectively mage-locked or not.
And wow, if Leona had just tried digging or something, she would have discovered that the floor consisted of very thin, loose slabs of stone that can be pried off. XD

Tai still has the scythe, he just summons it at will. How he does, I don’t know. But it makes sense that he’d put it away for now rather than lug it into a jailbreak. XD
