This is because Tai removed a key to open the door and threw the rest to Leona to unlock the mageloks.

Hmm, I don’t know, but I would guess that if Aywren and Syn wanted there to be elephants, there would be elephants.
I mean, take horses for example, sure they aren’t called horses, but they sure look like it (unless I’m just confusing myself). They make an appearance in Dreigiau I believe. Starts with an “R,” ends with an “n” or something like that, I’m just too lazy to check.
