Edward: A little jumpy, Cecil, aren’t we?
BSC: Yes well… I hit you the first time I met you, too.
Edward: Alright, enough excitement. *puts the crystal back on the pedestal* Something seems a little off about the Crystal. *quiet look as the clouds darken over Damcyan — the power has been drained off the crystal*
BSC: *drags Zeb up* I want them all questioned, but this one… *narrows his eyes at the helm* I want to question myself.
*rain starts to fall over the city walls*

DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!!
hehe.
Ah. Now what happened to Zemi and Zazo? (And Tai, and Drake?)…
“Something seems a little off about the crystal…” Understatement? Oh yes… And you have to wonder how badly it has been drained; completely drained or just with a little juice left, kinda like the battery in my laser mouse is all too often…
Oh and something I just noticed: The crystal room has… Star wall paper! Nice!
5 days in, almost twenty thousand words, and almost halfway there. But really, I’m in awe, to write a 219 105 word slightly polished draft took me… probably over a year. Maybe 8-10 months thats an average of (at best) 912 words a day for me. Currently Wren has an average of 3188 – 3825 per day (depending on if you use 5 or 6 days…). And then doing a web comic in addition. That is some serious skill right there (especially considering the probable quality given how the other Dreigiau books turned out)! But now I gotta write an essay (on Paradise Lost), and thats gonna turn out just fine…hehehe…*whimper*
But seriously, can’t wait for Book 5 and the “end,” good luck (if you think you need luck…)!
Yes. I am replying to myself.
I just got this joke, and it’s applicable right now because it has something to do with writing a book… and I’m pretty sure NaNoWriMo too… anyway, what happens when a cat decides to write for the contest?…
Uh, I don’t know for sure if that is the home page or the archive (it is the most recent page as of me posting this) so if the joke isn’t about a cat writing a book go back one or so.

And back to that Essay I go…
Oh PS: That could very well be me if I tried to enter a writing contest… But it would be because my mind would probably snap!
Ugh. Here I go again.
Yes the cat comic updated, and the old link I provided goes to the new comic. So here is the proper link to the actual archived “Cat writing NaNoWriMo Book joke.”
http://twolumps.net/d/20091104.html
PS: I feel really silly posting three times like this. I probably should have waited until it updated and I could be sure that I could get a link that would always send you to the proper comic. Silly me.
Thanks… I don’t know that it’s so much skill as it is just me throwing a bunch of words on a page. It always needs major revisions later. I’ve been known to finish my 50K for NaNo in the first two weeks, as long as I don’t slack off. When I had days off from work, I was writing two-three chapters a day. When I have work (like today), I can only manage one chapter. It’s really all about momentum for me.
Megan be in trouble….that trip kinda killed my momentum….
plus getting back to work right after getting home :-p
yeah tell me about it…im lucky to get a page a day in…and that takes me an hour…i really only say im doing it so that i hav a fire under me to keep writing normally by this point in a story i realize something i messed up (say not describing my chars for five pages!) and give up on the story before it even takes flight…that and im writing by hand and have no clue what my word count is! (-feels less undercommented-)
Oooooooooo! O.o , anticipation and danger!!
So what’s going on with Zemi, Zazo, and Tai right now?
And how’s Aiden gonna get outta that sword? Poor guy must be starving. I doubt there’s an “Inside the Sword Buffet”
…
Curse my overactive imagination and the mental image that produced.
Well, now, that’s interesting. I wonder, with all the people and creatures getting sucked into things these days, are they all separate dimensions? That’d be a lot of dimensions. Surely they’d get mixed up . . . or maybe, it’s all in the SAME dimension, and there’s a whole world in that sword :O
And now I’m sorely tempted to draw the image that popped into my mind.
Zeb’s in trouble… He’s now been accused of being a Golbez look alike in two dimensions. That has to break a record of some kind.
You know, putting the very valuable and powerful crystal in a big room all by itself on a pedestal is kind of begging people to take it.
What will BSC and Edward think when they find Zemi and Zazo destroying things outside…
aheh, i just noticed the clouds, are we going to have natural disasters in Damcyan now? Rain = not good for arweinydd. A lot of rain might not be good for Damcyan either.
Clouds . . . so it isn’t splashing from the Zazo vs. Zemi fight? Aaaaaw XD
I just got an image of Zazo and Zemi (in their human forms) dripping wet and arguing.
The power of the Fire Crystal has been drained, so it’s raining now…?
And there are still Arweinydd outside.
So, how’s that fight going?
I love the last three panels and the starry background.
Zeb’s in biiiiiiiig trouble now! XD
Double post!
So, I’m guessing that since BSC hasn’t seen Zeb without his helmet that much, he doesn’t really recognize Ben? Although, I guess they don’t look THAT similar.
another thing. What is up with BSC’s hair??!!!
That’s just BSC’s hair.
neheheh….whats UP with BSCs hair? other than the fact that its sticks straight up into the air? if i ever saw someone with Chocobo hair i think itd die laughing hystarically…thas how i think im gonna die….laughing.
this is the last time i wait three days before commenting! holy cow theres alot of comments three days after the post! on the other hand now i only hafta wait one day for the next update oh the pros and cons.
PS nice backgrounds and i hafta laugh at the image in my head of Zazo’s hair all matted down in the rain. wet puppy! and wet dragon…lets see how this turns out!
These misunderstandings fill me with rage and empathy for the misunderstood. But mainly rage for BSC, the ‘tard.
