That’s right, don’t worry about the crazy plate covered nut case who just yelled “Stupid Paladin!” I mean really… Actually to be honest as much as I like to criticize, from a strategic point of view BSC and Edward are doing the correct thing, securing the objective. So one enemy got away? Though… do they not know about the giant wolf and dragon having a battle royal just outside?
Oh and I thought that my monitor was messing up with the whole reality distortion panel. Great job. Or maybe there’s a tool that does that. I dunno. But even then the pose looks really good. Kinda cute actually.

Aiden: “Cecil, I am your father!”
BSC: “NOoooooooo! Wait. What?”
Aiden: “And I’m very disappointed with how you treated your brother.”
BSC: “Hey! Old man, don’t tell me how to run a kingdom and I won’t tell you how to build crystals. Capiche?”
Me: “But Cecil, Plato’s noble lie is meeeeeean!”

I put myself in the imaginary discussion for two reasons. One is because I wanted to bring Plato into it. “Where did you come from? And who in Ifrit’s name is Plato?” “Who is Ifrit?” Would be my likely response. And the second reason was to make sure that it definitely would NOT happen that way. So when I say it won’t happen that way there is no way for me to be wrong!
My mind is a pretty odd place.
If any of us were to pop into the story line… In my case I would want access to several automatic weapons, precision weapons, maybe a rocket launcher (just to be sure), and a decent sword. And good body armour. Aaaaand a tinfoil hat (just to be sure). And a water gun. Only then would I feel remotely safe. If they were to appear in our world… I agree that the confusion would be gargantuan! (I always want to use that word more often, doesn’t happen enough). Maybe a battle tank as well… fighter jet? No, can’t fly a… what about… *trails off*

That actually went a lot better than I thought it would, all things considered. Maybe now after some explaining (SOME! Not the whole from another dimension thing) something can get done other than just this whole thing becoming a huge clusterf***. Yet, I still since the words “And you expect us to believe that?” We’ll just have to wait (Until freaking Monday) to find out.

To be fair, I’d probably try a get back the object that -can- level cities from the guy who -has- leveled cities. And seven foot tall. And with a history of murdering. And isn’t really sane. And who cackles. And leaves cryptic messages. And is the personification of darkness. And has the history of being mind-controlled. And sems to have refused all help.
Even with Kip. I mean, Cecil doesn’t know that wasn’t a magic thing to make Zeb stronger. Or some kind of internal squabble. And frankly: tenticles.
I mean, they haven’t really given anyone any reason to NOT stab them, apart from: “Trust us!”. Which considering the people involved…I think Cecil is showing quite a bit of restraint here. I’m actually pleasently surprised that no-ones been really, really hurt yet.

Those are some good points, Em.
I don’t think BSC is “stupid” by any stretch — he’s mostly uninformed about the situation. And being the Paladin, I think his goal is to take prisoners and get answers first, which I deem to be smart. He’s doing what he sees he needs to do in defense of the Crystal at this moment and will sort the details out later.
It’s better to be safe than sorry.
