Lachesis: You hit the nail on the head. Leona has probably not considered Ben beyond the “friend” category. I mean, after all…. he IS the Ex-Dark Lord Golbez… and she’s only lately chosen to befriend him to begin with.
On the other hand, you can see that Ben’s equally not distressed at the fact he was left off of the “EW Noble Marriage List”. So he, too, is only at the friend stage of mind with Leona.
These two laugh like kids when you get them going, don’t they? XD
I loved these past couple of pages because I could finally get to draw Ben cutting up some after all the serious talk. When left to his own devices, he really still has a lot of younger-Shimmer-Ben in him.
