Leona: *leans next to him* Closing yourself off isn’t the way to get past this. Maybe you should sit and tell me about her?
Ben: *hands shake a little* I can’t…
Leona: You’ve gotta talk about it sometime.
Ben: Maybe if I tell you, you’ll decide not to hang around anymore.
Leona: Maybe so. Then you get your wish, right?
Ben: Yeah… *looks down at his hands* Joran never liked the idea of me making Incrytan — I got so wrapped up in creating the Crystal. She was right… I should have listened to her. *murmurs* She got involved in the situation — I never knew exactly how. But she snuck in and stole Incrytan right out of my room, thinking that by taking it away, she could protect me, I guess.

Is that a Marnie plushie or a crow?
Neither. That’s Sparrow.
Sparrow!
When are we going to see more of her in Dreigiau?
I’m working on a similar tell-all type of scene with two separate characters ATM…well, the scenes are in my head. I have yet to write them down. Raven will hate me forever if I decide to put hers on paper. I have no idea how Amelia will react. She’s still kind of new.
In all honesty, up to where I am in Darkstar, I can’t stand Joran. >w> I really, really don’t like her.
=spoilerz? Though you get them anyway from reading Wayrift?=
What do you expect though, I mean, she basically destroyed Mysidia…
I like Joran, just not the things she did.
Of course, I’ll blame the Daear for making her do some of those things.
Besides, Joran was sort of following Sparrow’s suggestions, and I doubt that Sparrow expected that to happen to Mysidia. Though I could be wrong.
Jamie: While it’s true she messed up Mysidia (they build it back again), I don’t think she realized exactly what was going to happen when she used Incrytan. Not to mention (like Ben will say on the next page), Incrytan was not complete yet… it wasn’t supposed to be used. And certainly not by someone lacking knowledge of the Crystals.
Pretty much all she knew was “If you do this, then it will help free Golbez.” And once it started, she was too caught up in a mess to find a way out of it until she was too late.
aws! Joran was only trying to help ben!
XD I haven’t read far enough for her to have redeemed herself yet, so I’m like… “D: Foolish girl is foolish”. I’m the type of personality though that has a hard time forgiving someone when they do something really horrible… even if, in the end, they didn’t expect it to turn out quite so badly.
I’m sick and with an empty head, but it didn’t stop me from reading ^^”
XD
Sorry to hear you’re sick, Winzrella. I hope you feel better!
I’d always given Joran a little benefit of the doubt because she IS from another planet, she’s been in cyber-sleep for who-knows-how-long, she’s young, and she has no idea the workings of the Blue Planet . . . she was in WAY over her poor little head
She’s also not up on the events of the Crystal Wars. The Lunars had no idea what happened while they were sleeping on the Red Moon in my dimension. Nothing but what Fu told them later… which isn’t much.
