Leona: *pushes open the shutters and lets the sunshine in* This is different. You’re on the Blue Planet now. I ain’t no handwaver. And this aint no moon! This time… I’m doing the teachin’ of lessons! Like teaching this OMEGA fellow not to touch my ship!
Ben: Leona… *murmurs* OMEGA is a very powerful Athrylith.
Leona: So? I’m protected by the Master Wizard and Paladin King of Baron! *picture of both Ben and Cecil sparkles in her mind* What are you gonna do? Let the Ath-thith run all over you! *pauses* What’s an Athyl-lith?

Athylyth? They taste delicious on toast….
It’s always been amusing to me how Ben, the big guy, is the magic user, whereas Cecil, the smaller guy, is the swordsman. Usually in stories and games, it’s the opposite XD Not that I agree with stereotypes, it just catches me off guard because I’m so used to those silly stereotypes, lol!
I know technically, they’re both tall, but Ben’s so much taller that in that perspective it makes Cecil look short. *giggle* No wonder nobody takes him seriously.
Oooooof course, Ben’s size always gets me. Like, WHOOOOOA, intimidationus maximus! Good thing Leona is always slightly ahead of herself or she might actually get scared. Even in the beginning, she seemed more mad that Ben was ‘going back to your evil ways, WAAAAAH!” then that he was going to hurt her . . . Then again, Ben’s such a big teddy bear all the time, it probably doesn’t matter. He’s a sweetie.
Leona brings up a good point. Athrylith is friggin’ hard to say!
Gotta love Leona. Blunt and to the point, never beats around the bush. Though that does get her into trouble 80% of the time…
and Athrylith IS rather hard to say… took me a while to figure out how to pronounce it
and as usual the art is absolutely wonderful. I love the 5th panel, and chibi Leona’s expression in the final panel is simply priceless
…hes a what?!?!?!?
My head empty today ^^’
Athrylith – a mind mage.
That is correct, Bastet!
Out of curiosity, does anyone know if “Athrylith” is a completely made up word or if it has a basis in an actual language?
Yep. Most of the names I use are from actual languages.
Athrylith (Welsh) — Genius, Ingenuity, Intuition or Talent
spiffy. Wasn’t overly latin-based and that’s the extent of my knowledge, so I had to ask. Thanks for sharing.
lol, *pauses* What’s an Athyl-lith? made me giggle
Made me giggle too. It reminds me of the ‘what’s a crystal master?’ page.
