Leona: Whattya mean! I heard you hissing in the woods… *pauses* Didn’t I? *wind begins to whistle as the trees gently sway*

Ben: Hissing? *grunts* Not likely… If I was gonna call you names… I’d make sure you heard them. *pauses, suddenly feeling.. something..*

Leona: *frowns* If it wasn’t you.. then who was .. it? *looks around the trees, watching the birds suddenly take flight with a crosseyed stare*

Ben: Leona… stay close… *steps nearer to Leona and looks over his shoulder into the forest, face set darkly, lowering his voice* There’s something here… It feels.. like the presence… I felt when the rain started… **

Leona: *grabs onto the side of Ben’s cloak in fear*

** At the end of the Introduction chapter, after the world of the Borderlands came into physical being, a mysterious rainstorm began. It was during this storm that Ben first felt the signs of something else within the world.
