Drake: Poor preparation and positioning.

Kip: Not all the preparation or positioning in the the world can save you from somethings, Hunter. *pulls down a set of view goggles*

Drake: I agree. But it has nothing to do with chance or luck. *climbs up into the ship*

Kip: Well, you gotta call it something. *pulls himself in the seat* And you better start believing in luck right about now. We’re going to need a lot of it.

Drake: To make up for the lack of skill.

Kip: *pulls the goggles down… they light up around the rim with a hum* You have the privledge of flying with one of the best, Hunter. Count yourself very lucky.

Drake: Right. *watches one of the panels come loose and the oxygen mask drops down* -_-;

Jenna pointed out part of Drake’s face marking being gone already.. though I would like to point out that his right eye (left onscreen) is a bit too high on his face and looks like it’s decided to move into his hairline.

Other than that, this entire page is made of win. Love the oxygen mask thing XD

Last week was just a really off week for artwork. I can’t tell you why. Next week will be better. I finished the pages tonight and I’m pretty happy with them.

awww, leave wren alone about the eyes, she got it to portray the right expression! X3 doesn’t matter if its exactly correct on the face of not. btw I LUUUUUV the part where kip puts on the goggles! SQEEEUUUAAA!!! he looks awesome!

It’s alright. I don’t mind constructive criticism. I think I see what you’re saying about it, Jamie. But from my perspective, Drake’s eye doesn’t look too far off… just a touch high. If I get around to editing this page, I’ll make adjustments.

The goggles were certainly a hold over pair that Kip found an repaired from his time in Zot. He wears a similar style set in Shimmer (you’ll see that this week!). He probably just tweaked the set he already had to work with this particular ship.

The ship, however, he had to piece together. So he did a fairly good job considering! XD
