Drake: Circumstance was the reason given from that the feeble-minded Administrator, FuSoYa to bring the moon to this orbit. If it were my choice… I think it was better off that we flew into the sun.
Kip: You would doom innocent people of your own race to death?
Drake: My people doomed themselves to death long ago when they started to meddle with forces that they didn’t understand. The Lunar people are an arrogant people - believing themselves so advanced that they could control any power that was discovered. It was too late when they realized that the very forces that they thought they controlled would lead to the destruction of the Fifth Planet. Crystal Masters were a product of the meddling. KluYa may be a bumbling idiot… but the power that he controls is unstable and chaotic. And while he may for all purposes, be innocent, the forces that reside within him will not allow this world to continue untouched.

Cali: It’s just the way Drake is. He doesn’t cry much over the past… he just deals with it all in his own blunt way.
Kumatsu: You wouldn’t see any of this in Darkstar or Dreigiau — Drake is 100% Syn’s character. So you’d have to read her story to understand where Drake is coming from. Let that be another nudge to her to write it one day. XD
My counterargument here is the same argument I have against lots of “Ism”s… Trying to fit everyone into one group doesn’t work. While Drake’s lunars might have done all that, I doubt most common individuals were involved.
