Kory: Aiden! You’re just jealous because you got reeeejected.
KY: What? I never applied!
Zemi: Rejected? Why?
Kory: Well look at him!
KY: *sits there… frozen*
Kory: Oozing with nerdiness!
KY: *same portrait, except with a pocket protector and taped glasses*
Zemi: Who rejected you, Klu? Do you want me to persuade them?
KY: Heheheh… *evil look at Kory*
Kory: Now you hold on!
KY: How much will you pay?
Kory: *whispers to Zemi* He’s just not ready yet.
Zemi: *not getting it* Well, if anyone crosses my son… they deal with the Dreigiau! Isn’t that right, Klu!
KY: That’s RIGHT!
Dude!! I totally want the Dreigiau to support me like that!
*perceives the Dreigiau as being his father, the Zemi-couch*

Gwa-haha. This is great. XD I love the nerdy Klu picture, and protective Zemi. Chibi Klu-Ya is so childlike, it’s cute. Really happy with the recent updates. ^^
Thanks for the comments and support everyone. Sorry that there’s another talky chapter… but we needed to establish the rules and weaknesses of Zemi before we went any further. Action…or at least plotty… chapters will be forthcoming.
I’m in a bit of a drawing blah lately though. I think my style is trying to do some funky things on me and I’m working to get a handle on it… because I’m not liking all the transitions it’s taking. Especially in Shimmer lately. I’ll straighten it out though. ^^;;
I guess there is something in all of us that wants our dad to stand up for us and protect us. And if your dad happens to be a dragon….

It’s funny how even though KluYa is obviously an adult, with adult age sons, his father still looks at him and treats him like a child, and Klu doesn’t seem to mind at all.

Kaiya: Klu never really knew his father until now, and Zemi never got the chance actually father his kid…so they’re making up for it?

Kaiya: I think Zemi is treating them like children beccause to Zemi they ARE children to him. Zemi ages different to humans so lots of people that are old to us are like kids to him.

Aywren, I personally love how your art is going in Wayrift. ^^ I think the only possible problem (if you choose to look at it that way) would be in Shimmer, and that’s only with Kip. Don’t be so hard on yourself!
