Ben: That’s not going to happen to me, is it!? I mean.. there’s something that can stop it? *holds his head* I don’t want my brain to melt!
Leona: You’re gonna end up all stuffy like Cecil!
Ben: No! No! No… never! I can’t handle those boooring meetings he has to go to! He tried to make me go to them at first. Well.. *pauses* I just pretended I was asleep. It was funny to watch how people reacted?
Leona: *grins* Oh, we can make them jump!
Ben: Jump?
Leona: Nothing that a little bit of itchy powder can’t fix.
Ben: Not the itchy powder! You know that makes Cecil really mad?
Leona: Isn’t it wonderful?
Ben: No? It’s not. I can tell you from experience.

No. He probably found itchy powder in his own boxers. XD
That picture of stuffy Ben is great! Pretending to sleep, interesting tactic. Wow, Leona really is “The Dark Lady of Baron”… Many of the characters sound a little like me at times… *shifty look* Of course I tend to be of the opinion that “ittybitty spawns” should be dyed green…
Aw, Cecil isn’t all that stuffy. Anyway he has Responsibilities (w/ capital R). It’s not his fault?

Lucky you can pretend to sleep in booring meetings - i did fall asleep in a meeting once. Crashing my head on the table wasn’t funny for me - and i never knew if they realy had a betting going on if i would or they were just making fun of me

Yep… that’s Elder Max. He would be the one that would think it’s funny… because he could tell that Ben was faking it.
That’s not Kain either, that’s a chibi Edge. XD Though I guess it would be easier to tell if I had more of him in the picture. There’s also Edward and one of the Clerics of Troia… or the backs of their heads anyhow.

Nigel: The question marks just indicate the way he talks… it make sense (to me, anyway) if you just imagine a querying or uncertain tone sometimes rather than an actual question. Know what you mean though ^^
Sorry… I have a tendency to talk in question marks with Ben. I’ll try to pay attention to it in the future.

I agree with Ven and Kumatsu! Sleeping through boring meetings/classes/lectures is quite amusing! Especially if you’re in a class with six people, who’ve been in the same program with you for four years, and an amazing teacher, who’s more like a best friend, and won’t hesitate to jump into the fray of an insult-throwing contest! Oh yes, it’s very fun to play-opossum in that class; though it does get hard to keep pretending to be asleep, since you can’t laugh…
Oh, DSP! I’m gonna miss that class next year!

@Tewna- minimarshmallows and cheezits…. nevah tried that one! have you tried melting minimarshmallows on buttered popcorn? it’s surprisingly delicious! ^^ though when the marshmallows cool off they get all hard and stick to everything x3 (I made quite a mess with that one, mostly myself, but some of the marshmallow goo dripped onto the plate thing in the microwave and refused to come off! XD)

Maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad thing for Ben to have a little more starch in him, if you know what I mean. He is lovable and endearing but his constant worry about every thing is either going to wear him out or get him in trouble. But then, we don’t want him to stuffy or else we would see no more chibi Ben’s fighting off Leona’s sneaky thought bubbles. *sigh* Sorry. I am in deep though analysis mode from school. I seem to be applying the “critical thinking process” to everything. *puts herself in headlock* SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!!

Ben has a lot of growing up to do… as this chapter shows. Give him some time. I think he accomplishes the mission of becoming a grown-up without a melted brain. There are some things that just don’t change. ^_~
Psyk : I might have to try melted marshmallow on popcorn! Melted chocolate and popcorn are nice too ^^. Does anyone else have wierd eating habbits? My friend Sam puts Philadelphia on Super Noodles >.>!

And I do miss that class terribly. I remember one day I was in a bad mood…then I went to DSP. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stay in that bad mood.
