Leona: Well, you know, just because your Dad yelled at you doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you. Parents yell when they get scared.
Ben: He thinks I’m a bad son now…
Leona: I don’t think so.
Ben: He must. He treated me like one.
Leona: He was just worried about his Dad. But I’m sure he doesn’t think you’re a bad son.
Ben: Yes, well… if this Zemi person really is who he says he is… he should have introduced himself in a less threatening way! Appearing as a Dragon and scaring people in the throne room? I don’t know if I completely believe what he claims is true. I mean… if it is then that means that… Zeromus’ brother is my… … … … *shudders all over* No… no… no…! *stamps REJECT on a Zemi thought bubble*

Comiza: Zerom’s not Ben’s brother, he’s sorta Zemi’s. Which would make him Ben’s great-uncle, in a way.

@Comiza: Not his (Ben’s) brother, but his Grandpa’s brother. Ben was saying “Zeromus’ brother is my Grandpa” and the thought that this means that Zeromus is his Granduncle .. well, that’s understandable creeping Ben out.
The “REJECT” stamp makes it hard to see but i think Zemichibi needs a hug! He looks soo crushed.

Poor Zemi…I guess the info that Zeromus isn’t really Ben’s uncle is a little late in coming, hm? Although, “family is family regardless of blood, (or desertion)”.

Khatz: You’re on the money with that. Most of the history that you read in Dreigiau was lost or in another language. The Nefolian language is similar to the Lunar language, but it still takes a good translator to figure it out.
You’ll see as this chapter progresses that Ben really doesn’t have a lot of the facts about Arweinydd, Sygnus and all that happened during the Dreigiau timeline. You’ll also notice in some of the “Legends and Writings” sections in Darkstar that people are trying to translate and figure out how things from the past meld with things in their present.
So much is really unknown to the current day figments. Even Zemi doesn’t have all the facts on himself, his origins and his own kind. But that’s part of the fun!
Is this going to be a slow ‘PD’ chapter were they just talk or is it going into something else with some more action?
Please don’t think I’m complaining! I don’t mind ether way, I’m just being nosey ^^!
Mostly talking here, Bex. But the rest of this chapter will touch on and reveal some pretty important subjects. I don’t see that it’s going to be a super long chapter in the end. We’ve already scripted the next chapter to be ready for when this one ends.
There are some fun plans coming down the line, though. You’ll just have to hang on for the action.
