Voice: His involvement with the Earthians has led to the unwelcome atmosphere for the rest of us with our own kind. *vague shape forming*
Drake: So what do you intend to do about it?
Zazo: Simple. *suddenly flickers and appears behind Drake — giant wolf* I will remove him from this plane, and have him remade into a proper Arweinydd.
**Introducing**
Zazo- An Arweinydd and member of the Trine. Sister to Zeni, Zemi, and Zerom(us). Takes the form of a giant white wolf.
Zazo! Darn, and I thought it really WAS Chuck Norris. XD

So glad you’re feeling better, my sympathies have now been transferred to Zemi; that is one unhappy-looking Zazo.
Out of interest, while Zemi has a ’surname’, do the other members of the Trine not? Or was it just something he picked up for fun?
(The ’secrets’ section of the cast page makes me want to go ‘AWWW’ and huggle her scheming Sygnus-eradicating Wolf-ness into utter happiness. Or drag someone else in to do it, which would likely have more effect even if I would get stomped into the ground for trying. ^^; )
Ven: I’m glad you think Zazo looks okay! It was a tough pose to draw… but I really start getting the hang of her in a few pages (I thought her cast page picture wasn’t too bad?). I just needed some forced practice.
Zemi’s “surname” simply means “Dragon”, of course. He was probably called that by the Earthians who saw his Dragon form… then picked it up as a last name for the fun of it — so literally, he’s Zemi Dragon. Heh. Most of the other Arweinydd don’t seem to take on last names as of yet.
(Yes, dragging someone else into it would be a lot of fun. But Zazo has a few tricks left this week that I think you’ll like. ^_~ )
Kumatsu: Dreigiau would give you a lot of background information on characters like Zemi, Zazo and TsuMe… and maybe a few others that haven’t shown up in the Wayrift that will one day. I wouldn’t say it’s required to understand all of this, but it does help. Though if you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer! Just let me know.

As much as I’d love for Tai to show up, it’s still going to be a while. To tell the truth, Zazo didn’t show up this early along in the real Wayrift timeline… and we hadn’t really planned on having her here so soon. But based on reader feedback and the scenario that was set up, she fit right in here perfectly.
Zazo has to have her time to be an antagonist for a while before Tai shows up. ^_~
*snarls and takes on her wolf form (4 ft at the shoulders, 5 at her head)*
*bursts into flames for snarling at Zazo*

Heheh… well, I don’t know exactly Zazo’s height (I wondered that for her cast page when I wrote it). But considering Drake stands over 5 feet.. and she’s a lot taller than that from these pages… well I still dunno. I’m not good with the math.
I just know that I finally got her size in relation to Earthians right in these pages, finally. I’ve drawn her far too small in the past pictures with Tai.
Wait, does this mean that if the readers wish hard enough we can mould Wayrift’s reality?

Yeah, Zreti prefers to remain about the same size as your average horse. But when she gets really peeved, she tends to inflate herself to massive proportions O_o

Pika: Actually, that’s exactly what happened. Though usually we have things pretty well set for the Wayrift time line, we did listen to the feedback for certain things and this chapter was the result of it. It worked for our plot. It was a lot of fun to make… and I’m grinning thinking about what’s coming up. I hope you’ll all enjoy it. ^_~
