Drake: ..? *pauses as the smile fades and looks behind*
Kip: *punches a few keys, staring at the screen* Vision system is down… the door locks aren’t secured… *grumbling* …we may be on our own with this…
*room shakes around a bit*
Drake: *jolted, sliding back a bit* So much for your technology…
Kip: *reaches out and takes his staff* Hey… it’s good when it works!
*claw marks deforming into the steel door*
W00t! First! First time ever!
O.o Creepy claw marks… coming through from the other side of the door! Eep.
Then again, I suppose this is Kip and Drake, so we don’t need to be too worried.
In fact, I feel more sorry for the poor beastie that thinks there’s lunch on the other side!
Heh, I would laugh so much if it’s a mutant Alert. But that’s just me.

When I started reading, I thought it might be Alert. It would be pretty funny if Alert DID get a few upgrades. And then fell in love with Drake ^.^

Sorry folks… don’t mean to disappoint anyone, but they’re really just general Zotmonster creatures. Though everyone’s ideas have been super-cool to read (I’m almost loathe to post this because I was enjoying all the speculation!)
TsuMe would be an interesting choice except he’s currently in Zemi’s hands. and KoGuRai… well.. he has his own stories that are not so associated with Zot (he’s never been to the Blue Planet at this point).
But does everyone REALLY want to see Alert that much? @@;; I hadn’t planned on having it in here… In my mind, if Alert survived Shimmer (not sure yet) then it would have gotten trashed when Cecil and company came through to flush out Golbez. But I could talk with Syn about seeing if it can fit in the plot of a future chapter if it means that much to people.
I think that it is yet another Globes.

Zot monsters work too…now we’ll know how Kip and Drake work together. I like Alert because he’s basically the ‘fuzzy animal’ of the comics-without being fuzzy.
…:) It would be nice to see Alert survive all the conflicts. Even if it was a bit banged up.

On to the topic at hand, I totally agree with Yllamse… precocious of me to be throwing this out there, but I have this total mental image of Kip finding a deactivated, banged-up Alert and carefully repairing him.

I bet it’s one of those ugly summoner-like monsters. You know, the old hags that kept summoning dolls? They were good for XP: kill the dolls, wait for stupid to summon more, kill more dolls…

it dawned on me the other day but I believe (in kip and tais place)waywrift and shimmer are mirror images… especially those two characters ^^; I mean check out the ROLLS and the EYES!!! oh and the HAIR! think about it!!!! they swap places!!!
