KY: *in his grumpiness, takes Onyx, lifts it up, and sticks it into the floor* Benjamin! How could you attack a defenseless, unarmed man, who was clearly surrendering to you?

KY: *looks over at Zeb* As for you… WHERE did you get this? *waves the crystal at Zeb*
Zeb: *begins to open his mouth*
KY: *mutes him* Nevermind.
Zeb: @#!#@! *muted*
Oooooo, you’re in trouble now young men! *Finger waggle*
And in one fell swoop KY righted it all. ^^
*ROFL* Oh my goodness!
XD Poor Zeb. I know how that’s like…except the mute part.

*Pats Ben on the Head* It’s not your fault…not completely. Don’t worry…It’ll be ok. 
Yeah.. Ben is VERY sensitive about father-figures. Especially this early in the Wayrift storylines. He’s not all that far removed from young Ben in Shimmer… who had a certain hero worship for his father.
So when KluYa gives him a good lecture, especially when Ben was confused and THOUGHT he was doing something to SAVE KluYa, he does get upset. He still doesn’t quite understand the whole family unit thing very well yet. Keep in mind, he’s hardly had a family that he can remember. So it’s somewhat shocking for him to get a chewing from his Dad! This might be the first time he could ever remember that happening?
Heh.. Zeb didn’t nickname Ben “Big Baby” for nothing. Ben is quite apt to tears in the early days of Wayrift. Not so much in current days, however… he’s grown up quite a bit!
Aww, they are both such kids. Even if Zeb is apparently fairly profane for his current mental age of seven.
That’s such a good ’sulk’ face; and for that matter, I think Klu is now the envy of parents everywhere. And just generally awesome for his expression in that last panel.
…is the ‘mute’ spell something that all the magically-able Wayriftians can use? Or at least Tai? Please please please can I steal it for him? *puppydog eyes*
Ven: You’re in luck. As a matter of fact, Tai specializes in status effect type magics (such as Mute) for non-lethal type battles. Heh. He most certainly does throw the Mute spell around. And he probably loves doing it.
Though originally, in the FFIV game, it was a spell just to silence magic casters from using magics… we sorta expand on the utility of it here. XD
Ah, limitless possibilities! Quickly, let us try it on Leona. >:)
Can Zeb use mute as well? He could just do that instead of threatening to cut out her tongue.

Why? Zeb gets shrunk (Tiny) or turned into a frog more often than he gets Muted. Not that -I- ever did that to him. I’m not quite that magic-talented.
I would totally do that, then I would do it to myself… then we could have a mini-party!!!
