KY: *looks at Zemi… Crystal still glowing* Father… Are you okay?
Zemi: Yes… I was… *clears his throat* …more worried about hurting them. *trying to hide his heartbroken look*
KY: *brushes Zemi’s shoulders off* I am… terribly sorry…
Zemi: Yeah… Me too.
Ben: *absolutely baffled stare* … …
God, this family is messed up…
*gives Zemi a comforting hug and a box of pop-tarts*

Well, Zemi is no spring Dragon anymore. He’s quite a bit older than he was in Dreigiau (not to say he was that young when that story was going on!). But you’re right, he starts to show his age at moments, especially when he’s under stress or emotional strain. I think all of this has really dismayed him quite a bit. It wasn’t the happy homecoming he thought it would be!

OMEGA: I.E. (I think) OMEGA is the form of kip as to where he has undergone a great transformation (if you can call it great) in which about half of his body was switched for metal and his brain was SERIOUSLY skrewed up. the up side? he became about TWICE as powerful.

heeheh you are my favorite character here! (no offence to the other figgys alot of them rank in on second) but kip just has a personality and a background like no other!!! not to mention “can openers” are made to “open” cans… and I seem to recall armor seeming alot like a can right now so zeb step back!

The funny thing about Kip is that he was very much developed backwards. Though most readers have only seen him in his pre-OMEGA days in Shimmer (unless you’re a Darkstar reader, then you DO know how OMEGA works), OMEGA was developed before normal Kip was. In fact, the name “Kip” didn’t exist for months after his first character designs were concepted. He wasn’t originally going to be a part of Shimmer, but once the storyline evolved, I saw it as a chance to explore some of his past… funny that it should become what people know most about now!
But that’ll change… in time. Mwahahaha. *coff*
Cali, I know you’re a big fan of Kip! I’m glad you really enjoy his character and design… and that you feel like he’s pretty original. That’s such a great compliment to me! So thank you!

Kumatsu: A while back, members of the Sygnus.org message boards broke up into two friendly factions (mostly for Role Play fun). The side led by Zemi was named (by board members) The Myrfyrweirdos. The side that opposed them was led by Kip’s anarchists called The Athrylriffraff.
Back during 2005, there were plots and plans between the two groups to overthrow each other… which eventually led to some pretty wild battles across the forum. Things have been pretty quiet lately, though.
I see… OK, yeah it makes sense…

It depends on which figments you want back story for… and what sort of backstory.
You can sometimes find inside information about figments on the forum if you look through the threads under specific projects. Such as… there’s info about Dreigiau-origins characters on the Dreigiau section of the forum. There’s a few threads on the Wayrift section of the forum that might have background information, too. I know I can’t remember them all, so you’ll just have to look… often information was buried in the middle of threads as people asked questions.
Another good place to look for background story would be on threads that are posted about artwork. Sometimes the pieces of artwork I post have spoilers or spawn discussions about background stories. So the art board would be another good place to look.
We’d love to have you around the forums! So come around and search around.
