I still really love how Ben and Zeb are so similar in appearance, and often in expression, but as people they are, well, not opposites, but perhaps mirror images. The situation, the past, almost everything seems the same, but when you take a closer look… it’s all the wrong way round. I could be talking garbage, or making no sense at all so the best example I have is the Golbei meeting Zeromus; one chose, the other was forced. Same beginning, same ending, but the middle all twisted round.
…did Zemi just gain a tied bit of hair over his left shoulder? I can’t think of what you’d call it for some reason. Or is it just too early in the morning? I can hear the dawn chorus right now…
(I’ve just reread my comment and yes, it /is/ too eary ^^;)
Ven: Nope… Zemi’s always had the hair wrap. Sometimes it’s a pain though because it’s easy to forget to draw if I’m trying to work too fast on roughing out a page. XD
As for Ben and Zeb, I couldn’t have said it better. The ironic thing about all of this is that none of it was planned before hand. Syn had developed the background story for Zeb before I ever met her. And I had developed Ben’s story before she met me. So when the figments got together and we saw this kind of symmetry, I knew that we needed to make something out of it.
This all just started out as random RPs in chat. I remember joking for months before we decided to create Wayrift saying, “You know, this would make a good manga!” Little did I know at the time, the things that Authors joke about often become reality.
Well Aywren, that means that my webcomic will probably be a mock-up of one of the longest D & D sessions I was ever in… though I’ll probably extend it and add in details and more gags (believe there were things that happened that don’t need funny-ing up). At multiple points we all said “Hey, this would make a hilarious webcomic”.

Not like writers in a non-profit agency are that interesting either. : / It would be nice to be a Lunar. Maybe I could mind suck certain people around the job into giving me a raise… or at least some time off.
