Zeb: *sees Ben, Leona and Kory coming towards the cottage through the window, with narrowed eyes* ~Shak…~ *telekinetically pulls the entire wave of darkness from the floor, and slams KY down into it, covering the floor with a black slick coating*
KY: *stuck underneath*
Zeb: *manipulating one of the Zemi force blasts to aim slightly off from the door — so that it seems that Zemi shot at Ben coming through the door*
Ben: Hun? *wide eyes, ducks back* Whaa…? O.o;;
I’m sorry to say, I don’t think I would’ve gotten this scene without the script center…
But anyway: Gah! Sneaky, Sneaky Zeb! Trying to pull Ben into the fight!
*major finger-wagging going on here, really, there is*
I know… I’m sorry, too. This scene was really difficult for me to try and find a way to put on paper.. as a lot of bits and pieces of this chapter have been. I usually try to be sure the page can stand alone without the script center… do forgive me for a trip-up now and then.
It doesn’t help that I haven’t had a lot of time to sit down and really work on the Wayrift pages lately. I’m in the middle of moving IRL… so I’m squeezing in artwork and updates between all of the mess. ^^;
*slaps again* Dangit Zeb, that’s NOT what I said!!!
And Zemi, aren’t you more powerful than that?? I mean, c’mon mister Arweinydd!
KY, why aren’t you at least trying to fight back?!?!?!

Well, I’d say that poor KY is in a bit of a shock at the moment. So it probably contributes to the reason why he’s not fighting back… but that doesn’t mean he won’t snap out of it eventually.
Zemi is powerful… but he can’t just blast away in this situation. He doesn’t want to actually hurt Zeb. And KluYa is sorta caught up in the mess as well.
he’s gonna make himself look like a good guy and zemi as the bad guy!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!
This makes me wonder if Zeb ever did regain a little trust in his dad…
