One of the things I love most about this comic is how imperfect the characters are, how realisticly flawed. And how even the most apparently evil get a chance.
It’s also incredible how naturally you give each one the opportunity to be understood – none of the cliche dramatic monologuing.

Raven: Thank you so much for your comment! We really do try to do just as you describe there — each of our characters are developed to be as “human” as we can get them (sometimes a little too human in my case!). This is always an ongoing process… but I’m glad that people can pick up on this even in the silliest of storylines!
