Ben: I see… *simply points upward* An icecream cone!

Leona: *breaks out into laughter*

Ben: Don’t you see it?? *perplexed*

Leona: Yeah!!! It’s running into the Spinerat though.

Ben: Eww… spinerat flavored icecream?

Leona: You know, Dad says that Mom lives up there with the stars. And sometimes when I’m flying, It’s almost like I feel that I’m closer to her. Maybe I could touch her… if I could only fly high enough.

Ben: I have a friend that lives among the stars, too… *pauses, falling silent*

I wonder… Which friend is Ben referring to? He’s lost a lot, I know… and then, he also has friends who LITERALLY live among the stars.

Ben’s still very sensitive to the Joran issue.. Wayrift picks up not even a year after Darkstar ends. So there’s a lot of things that are still on Ben’s mind at this point (Sygnus, Joran… etc.)
