Leona: *holds her hand up to the rift* So… we ready to inspect your fine hand-waving work?

Ben: From what I see, it’s remained a stable connection. Usually if a rift will fizzle, it’ll be within the first few hours.

Leona: *looks at Ben* Alright then… *puts her hand in a victory sign* Let’s GO!

Ben: Go? You mean to the other world?

Leona: YEAH!

Ben: Well.. I’m not sure that’s such a good idea…

Leona: Well.. what if you made a boo-boo? What if the rift leads to the wrong place? You could be thrown in the middle of nowhere as far as I know? *grumbles* My dad always says… Quality first!

Ben: I’ve already tested it. Don’t you think that’s the first thing I do after establishing a rift? I mean.. if you install a door to somewhere, you test to see if it opens.

Leona: Aww.. come on… I just wanna see? That’s all.. I mean.. what if there’s another me? I mean.. twice the coolness!

Ben: @@; That’s what I’m afraid of….

Okay. Two Leonas are scarier than anything we came up with in the caption contest. No wonder Ben looks dismayed…

The Borderland backgrounds are looking nice too (I wanna climb the mountain!) and Leona in the fourth panel is just adorable. Great page!

Yeah, I’ve been working on drawing basic type backgrounds rather than relying on screentones for trees and bushes and stuff. I’m ending up drawing Wayrift in more and more a Shimmer inking style this week too.
