Ben: People in my world know about me… it was sorta explained. Cecil seems just as well off for it. But he seems up tight about keeping a good eye on me now that I’m staying in Baron. I don’t think he totally trusts me still.

Zeb: He is a smart man… I wouldn’t trust me either. *smirks*

Ben: Thanks… Well, unlike you, I don’t go around causing trouble. Most the time, it seems to find me. I’m not going to say that I’m trustworthy though. You’re right about that… There are things still within me that are better left.. unspoken.

Zeb: *grumbles* And you don’t think the same thing holds true for father…

Ben: Why does this always come back to him?

Zeb: Because I know the potential of the trouble that could be caused.

Ben: I’ve had enough people telling me what I’m supposed to be in my life. And until I see with my own eyes absolute and total proof that what you say is real, I’m not going to be one of those people that go around dampening my thoughts with darkness about other people.

Zeb: You won’t be able to find absolute and total proof.. unless you look beyond the facade that covers it.

I love Ben’s body language in the first panel… That’s a truly impressive slouch. XD You’re doing an excellent job of varying the panels, so that we just don’t have a progression of talking heads… even for a “slow” scene without a lot of direct action.

Slouching or “drooping” is a common Ben movement, actually. XD One of my big goals is to be sure that frames aren’t just a bunch of talking heads… it’s an active thing that is always on my mind during these “talk scenes”.

Hmm… if he had a black hooded sweatshirt on (hood up) with his hands in the front pocket, he’d be MY Ben! My big(in size) little(in age) brother walks around like that all the time.
