Zeb: Since NOW! *swings his staff around… releasing a wide swath of ice shards in Kain’s path* Begone Highwind!

Kain: *lowers his brows and leaps up out of the path of the spell* Easier said than done, Golbez!

Yeah.. Zeb is really trying to -smear- Ben’s good reputation.. heh. I suppose getting to throw a few licks in at Kain is just an extra bonus.

And I love the texture of the magic. It looks really cool!

Not like Kain has a lot of time to think about the spear.. heh. Poor guy. Zeb, however, was quite amused at the outcome of this update. Just wanted to mention that.

Jeez, both these guys are in there element *rolls eyes*. They probably live for fighting. (vision of Kain, sitting at guard duty, planning all the cliche statements he’ll say during his next fight)

And is that a scar on his cheek? is there a story behind it?

Actually, yeah.. that’s a scar. And there is a story behind it.. at least there was in the old Darkstar. But now, I doubt that chapter will ever be included… so now it’s just a scar on Kain’s cheek because that’s how I draw him… ^^;

Of course Syn knows the outcome — she writes EVERY chapter with me! ^_^ Remember, half of them are my characters, half of them are Syn’s characters and we write Wayrift together.
