*glass suddenly shatters… as long cracks with a lumenscent glow form along the crystal surface around where Ben and KY’s hands are*

Ben: *teeth gritting* Come on… come on…

KY: Almost… there… *leans into the glass heavily*

Ben: ~Yes! It’s working! Maybe the curse was weaker than Dad thought….~

KY: *hands seeming to pull out from the glass as if it were plastic… starting to reach around Ben’s fingers*
