Kory: The world was new to us both… I, the Eblanian noble, and he the savage kitchenboy. We spent our youthful days traveling from port to port… picking up women, challenging the locals in contests of wit and bravado… It was a wonderful life.

Ben: Is that how it REALLY happened?

Kory: I’d like to remember it that way… Anyhow, Aiden was always… how can I say it… a little more prudish than someone with fine womanizing skillz like myself. So he chose to settle down in this little backwater area of Mysidia with a ranger girl. Just a common girl… Though I always thought that he got the better part of the bargain, even if she knew nothing of magic. What she saw in him… well… puzzles me.

I’m happy that everyone liked that bottom frame — I’m slowly working on getting my style worked out and cleaned up some. I was hoping that these pieces would come out okay — it’s not easy to draw younger versions of Syn’s characters (especially Zeb)!

Always. But mostly cuz it would be the first time I’ve drawn a younger Zeb (for this week’s update).
