Leona: *hisses* He wouldn’t be so big without the armor… and the magic… and… well… the spikes.. *looks at Ben* He might even look like you?
Ben: *frowns* I used to think he was a bit like me… but now… I don’t know.
Leona: *clears her throat* What are we going to do?
Ben: I have a bad feeling about this… *murmurs to Leona* A really bad feeling about this. Whenever Zeb’s involved, nothing is simple. I’m not sure why he hates Dad so much but… I guess… I’m gonna find out what happened to Dad… then I’ll come back and…
Leona: I’m coming with you!
Ben: Eh!?
Leona: No way I’m staying here with that brute in the kitchen!
Ben: Okay… *motions for her to follow him outside* Zeb thinks he’s clever but…

Hmmm… You know, Wren, though I like the way the new style is going… I think the way you drew Leona’s eyes was better before. Maybe you’re just getting used to it, but they seem so much flatter and less emotional.

Yeah, I didn’t like this page very much… especially that one big frame of Leona. This page just really lacked -umph- for me. It was just one of THOSE pages. :/

Umm…I don’t know if I should tell you this. It really doesn’t matter cause you get the intention and such, but…um… Ben in the last panel, that hand gesture…in some parts of the world…is not a very nice hand gesture.

Urg… well, it wasn’t meant to be offensive to anyone (I’ve used that same gesture myself to ask someone to follow me). But wow… maybe this is the one Wayrift page that should have never existed in light of all the mistakes. ~~;;

No no no! Like I said it’s understandable and people get what your completely innocent intentions. I’m sure it won’t offend anyone (I actually use the same gesture too, but just because Ben’s middle finger is more straight than bent it looks a bit more like a backwards peace sign). So really the page is fine. I was just letting you know for future referance. So please don’t be discouraged in anyway, I personally like this page a lot.

Heh.. I’m not discouraged — I just really didn’t like this page. ^^; It’s okay though.. I was having an off week in drawing. I’ll work at making this update better. I hope?
